Maggie Roller started the Regent Golf Program in 2014 – middle school first, then high school boys. She led the middle school boys to several victories – team and individuals, as well as the high school boys. She hosted two top ranked junior high tournaments at ISCC in the Christian school junior high league. She has coached high school boys solely since 2016. In 2016, Coach Roller only had one individual player who went to state finishing top 20. In 2017, she led the team to district and regional titles for 2A. That year they were runners-up in 2A state as a team, and she coached one individual to runner-up. In 2018, she led the team to district regional and state titles in 2A, as well as one individual who won state and second player who finished in the top ten. She also coached the district and regional individual winners in both 2017 and 2018. In 2019, she led her team to victories in district, regionals, and state in the 3A, she had two individuals in the top 5, plus one more in the top 10. She hosted state at the prestigious Tulsa Country Club in 2019.
Coach Roller played junior golf in Texas and was recruited by Texas, SMU, South Carolina, and Tulsa. She played for Tulsa from 1985 to 1989 and on the 1988 NCAA Championship Team, as well as the runner-up team in 1989.
Coach Roller has taught golf in Tulsa since 1990 and is currently the Director of Instruction at Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow. She is director of the LPGA Girls Golf Program of Tulsa which she started in 2015 and is Tournament Chair of the AJGA Tulsa Gateway event in Tulsa.
Coach Roller loves to coach golf mainly to point her kids/students to Jesus Christ and His word.
Maggie has three kids attending/graduated from Regent, JP (Class of 2020), Jenni (Class of 2022), and JohnMark (Class of 2025) who play golf, basketball, football, and baseball. Her husband, Bill, is the Girls Golf Coach at Regent.
