The Regent Academic Bowl team competed at the OSSAA Area Tournament last Saturday. Entering as the Regional Champions, the team started strong in the first two matches, beating their opponents by a combined score of 430 - 160. The team narrowly lost in the Championship round to Riverfield Country Day School, but managed to hold off Oklahoma Christian Academy for a 2nd place finish securing their bid to the State Tournament at Rose State College on Saturday, February 1. #regentacademicbowl #roadtostate🏆

In addition to launching a new semester, today also marked another new beginning. This morning before high school classes began, we gathered to pray over the new science labs and classrooms before cutting the ribbon to open the space. We are so grateful for the generous donation that funded this new wing and for all of the work that went into creating the beautiful space. At last weekend’s speech & debate tournament, three Regent students placed first in five events with each earning qualification to the Regional tournament in two events. Julia and Hannah qualified in Humorous Duet, Julia also qualified in Prose Reading and Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, Mary qualified in Poetry Reading, and Mary and Hannah also qualified in Public Forum Debate.
