SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Carlie Hesser is one of this year’s 14ers and an Oklahoma Academic Scholar! She served on Student Council all four years of high school and served as a member of Regent’s Spanish and Beta Clubs. Carlie played volleyball for 7 years and soccer for 2 years. She has won multiple first place awards for her many works of art, one of which recently won “Best of Show” at the Regent Art Show in Spring 2024. Beyond Regent, Carlie has accumulated over 400 volunteer hours through the Leadership Development Program at New Life Ranch. In the fall, she plans to study Psychology at Oral Roberts University. Congratulations to Max Beard who was recognized last Friday as the Tulsa World Athlete of the Week. Max is a freshman playing in #1 singles for Regent. He had a dominating month of #1 singles play winning several tournaments against top competition. Last week, Max captured the Regent In The Park Tournament Championship, as did his teammate, Bo Bayless in #2 singles, leading the Regent boys’ tennis team to a 1st-place overall finish. The girls’ tennis team also finished strong at 3rd place led by the pair of Maggie Nokes and Francesca Sollberger finishing 1st in #2 doubles. #gorams #regentathletics

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Maggie Nokes has been a leader on campus as this year's Student Council President, as well as a captain for both cheer and volleyball. In addition to cheer and volleyball, she has also played tennis all four years of high school. She has also served on campus in Beta Club and off campus through the Little Light House Teen Advisory Board. Maggie will be attending OSU in the fall where she will major in nursing. SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: James Anderson is a National Merit Finalist and an Oklahoma Academic Scholar! He has participated on two state championship Academic Bowl teams and the Krypto math team. James is a percussionist for the concert band and jazz band (who won a State Champions last year). His musical talents have also graced the Regent stage where he has been a part of several musical productions. He also serves in Beta Club in addition to being an active member at his church where he volunteered for VBS and Summer Music Camp. James will major in engineering when he attends The University of Tulsa in the fall. Congratulations, James! #regentclassof2025 #seniorspotlight
