HIGH SCHOOL RETREAT ☀️🙌🤍🌲 Our high school students spent the weekend worshiping, learning, playing, and building community at New Life Ranch! Students were encouraged to abide in the Vine, finding their identity in Christ and their hope in the truth of God’s Word. We’re especially grateful for our seniors who led through worship, prayer, team unity, and service. Last night’s Tulsa World All-World Awards brought together the Tulsa area’s top high school athletes to celebrate an outstanding year of competition. Regent was honored to have Clay McKinney (Track) and Max Beard (Tennis) recognized as Player of the Year finalists, with just three finalists selected in each sport. Congratulations to our student-athletes and coaches who have been recognized by Tulsa World as All-World finalists and honorees. 🏆 Player of the Year Finalists Max Beard (Sophomore) – Boys Tennis Clay McKinney (Senior) – Boys Track 🏆 Coach of the Year Debbie King – Boys Track ⭐ First Team All-World Brody Boyd (Sophomore) – Boys Golf Thomas O’Dea (Junior) – Boys Track (3200m) Kayla King (Freshman) – Girls Track (1600m, 3200m) 👏 Honorable Mention Girls Golf: Lilly Reid, Greta Nokes Boys Golf: Cai Brookover, Cole Brookover, Trace Dearman, Cameron Wells Boys Tennis: Cade Johnson, Lathan Schneidau, James Watson Girls Tennis: Caroline Jones Boys Track: Elijah Lake, Jeremiah Tangren, Jonah Dickens, Mason Morales Girls Track: Victoria Cunningham, Taylor Fowler, Lucy O’Dea These recognitions cap off an outstanding spring season for Regent athletics. The Rams captured the program’s first Boys Track State Championship under Coach Debbie King, while Clay McKinney delivered a record-breaking senior campaign and Max Beard added a second consecutive state tennis title. Across the board, our golf, tennis, and track athletes represented Regent with excellence and earned well-deserved recognition among the area’s best. We’re proud of every athlete and coach recognized and look forward to seeing additional Regent spring sports honorees announced in next week’s Tulsa World All-World teams. 🏅 Regent’s Anna Ebert (Class of 2027) was recognized in Washington, D.C., as a recipient of the Congressional Award Gold Medal, the highest honor Congress bestows upon young civilians. The Congressional Award recognizes young people who demonstrate exceptional commitment to voluntary public service, personal development, physical fitness, and exploration. Anna earned the award through years of goal-setting, service, and personal growth, including volunteering at the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, crocheting soap bags for those experiencing homelessness, pursuing competitive rock climbing, and exploring new skills and experiences. Reflecting on the journey, Anna shared, “This program has given me the opportunity to see needs in my community and do something about them.” We are proud of Anna for her dedication to serving others, embracing challenges, and honoring Christ through faithful stewardship of her gifts.
