Regent’s Musical was recently recognized by The Discovery Awards for “Outstanding Costume Design” for this year’s show - “Once Upon a Mattress.” Congratulations to musical directors Mrs. Colvin, Mrs. Sears, and Ms. Berlin, as well as to Mrs. Anderson and her team who put together the costumes for this year’s musical. Their combined artistic vision and the talent of the cast brought the show to life! Additionally, the leads from the show, Brayson Saunders and Laney Breig represented Regent at The Discovery Awards workshop earlier this summer. #regentfinearts #regentmusical #thediscoveryawards

Congratulations to Max Beard, Bo Bayless, and Coach Kennedy on the tennis honors announced by TulsaWorld! - Freshman Max Beard was selected as one of three All-World Finalists for Boys Tennis Player of the Year - Senior Bo Bayless was also selected for the All-World First Team - Coach Rebekah Kennedy earned Tennis Coach of the Year Read more about each below or in TulsaWorld! #gorams #regentathletics BOYS TENNIS PLAYER OF THE YEAR FINALIST In 19 matches this season, Beard finished 17-2, including a 4-0 run through the state tournament to win a championship. In victories over Grove’s Zach Draper, Gus Byrd, Oklahoma Christian School’s Trendon Ayers and Elk City’s Quinn Brewer at the 4A state tournament, Beard only dropped seven games in nothing but straight-set victories. Beard also dominated in regional play with three straight-set wins. COACH OF THE YEAR In her first season as Regent’s coach. Rebekah Kennedy led the Rams to a third-place finish in Class 4A with a sweep of the singles titles. She was a 6A state champion and runner-up at Edmond North. She played tennis at Central Oklahoma. SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: For our final senior spotlight, we feature this year's Valedictorian, Drew Ebert! Drew is a National Merit Finalist and an Oklahoma Academic Scholar. Drew set a strong example of servant leadership in his role as Beta Club President and was the recipient of this year's Beta Club Wilberforce Award! He was the captain of this year's State Championship Academic Bowl team. He also played tennis for the Rams. Beyond Regent, Drew is a Congressional Award Gold Medalist and an Eagle Scout, having earned all 139 merit badges offered. He spent 21 days and 200+ miles on a backpacking trip through Philmont Scout Ranch. In the fall, Drew will head to Michigan to attend Hillsdale College and major in biochemistry on a pre-med track. In a comeback victory on day two of the OSSAA 2A Boys Golf State Tournament, Regent’s team clinched the State Championship! The Rams were led by senior, Benton Manly, who won the individual State Title. Fellow senior, JohnMark Roller joined Benton in being named to the OSSAA All-State Golf Team. Freshman Brody Boyd also received an individual medal finishing in 5th place. Congratulations to Coach Peace, Coach Roller and the whole boys’ team! #gorams #regentathletics #statechampions⛳️🏆
